Absorbents

Industrial Absorbents are incredibly important to swiftly deal with any incidents in which the environment or staff are at immediate risk from any leaks, spills or drips of liquids. If your site has large amounts of any liquids, it’s your duty of care to provide appropriate absorbents close to potential risk areas and prevent potential incidents from escalating.

We stock a number of various types of absorbents including booms, pads, pillows, socks & rolls. Each type is stocked in 3 different categories for immediate action against specific liquids. This includes maintenance, oil selective & chemical absorbents. Maintenance absorbents are mainly used for non-hazardous liquids with chemical absorbents used for acids, alkalis and strong chemicals and Oil selective absorbents for fuels, oils, solvents & hydrocarbons.

Absorbent pads are pre-cut making them quick and effective for smaller spills & drips. Rolls are perforated for easy tearing and are typically used next to workbenches or near machinery for smaller clean-ups. Cushions are ideal for puddles or covering drains, socks for leaks or surrounding floor spillages. Granules can be used to absorb non-aggressive spills on any surfaces including walkways, pavements, ramps or machinery bases. Absorbent booms are perfect for containing spills to the incident area preventing spread further.
