Last year it was brought to our attention Sunndach was trying to source bespoke swings for disabled children. Unfortunately, due to the high cost quoted, this wasn’t possible. As a manufacturer, we have the resources to design and manufacture bespoke products. We were recently invited to the Social Bite village to see first-hand the impact Social Bite has had in tackling homelessness, and to hear their plans to replicate the Village in more cities.The Social Bite Village is an innovative, highly supported community for up to 20 people affected by homelessness. In December of last year, five members of the Emtez and Romold teams took part in Sleep in the Park as part of Social Bite’s mission to eradicate homelessness in Scotland. With temperatures dropping to minus 7, whilst there was entertainment and laughs, it was no easy task. For anyone who has slept outside in sub-zero conditions with a sleeping bag probably not fit for those kind of temperatures, it hurts.
